May 16 Club

DSC03218.JPG

Here's what we made at Stamp Club Friday night.

I saw this on the Stampin' Up website some time again, then saw it "live" on the cruise and just HAD to make one.

So much fun! The Tart & Tangy set is perfect. I used vellum cardstock for the cup and also for the straw (sponged it first with Regal Rose ink). Do you prefer cherry or maybe strawberry lemonade? Those variations are easy with the Tart & Tangy stamp set. That set is available in the Occasions Mini Catalog, which by the way has been extended through the end of June.

Colors: Yoyo Yellow and Regal Rose.

Vellum cardstock, Multi Purpose Adhesive and Chunky Sprinkles in Crystal Iris (also in the Occasions Mini).

Boy was I thirsty by the end of the night Party%20Gif.gif

Another Round!

Oval Punch Flower.jpg

Well, two oval punches are better than one, right? Make oval rings by punching the small one first, then the large one. Turn the punch over to see where you're going.  I used an OnBoard chipboard flower as a guide to see where to place the petals, stuck them all together with Dimensionals, and secured it to the card.  The last step was sliding the small purple ovals under each petal... it's faster that way ;-)

Another Stamp Club Project

DSC00713.JPG

Stamp Club made a tiny journal with a mini composition book I found at Staples for 99 cents for a pack of 2. These are 3"x4 1/2". We covered them with cardstock and stamped and cut out the Big Blossom Sellabration stamp (kissing technique was used) and glued it on.  The oval punch makes perfect centers for the petals. We also made tabs for the book using the oval punch. Love those ovals!!

Stamp Club Projects

This card uses 2 techniques: watercoloring (flower) and faux pearls, which uses Lumiere paint, Classic and Staz-On inks on glossy cardstock. Elegant Eggplant was a perfect color for this card.

Below, the pigment-dye-bleach technique was used for the background. Two colors of Craft Ink Spots were used on the large flower on the front, plus another color on the center flower, stamped directly on top.

The new Pocket Notes from the Winter Mini-Catalog make perfect mini photo albums. We used the stamp set Big Pieces and Flirty Ribbon too, layered with Sticky Tape. Here is the inside:

Here's Frosty, moonlighting on the cover of a CD/DVD holder.  Embossing, Watercoloring and Markers were combined.
